“Growing the Pierre Laclede Community Hub—Together”

A Community Hub Taking Shape
Over the past several months, the Pierre Laclede Community Hub has continued to grow through the collaboration of organizations committed to supporting students and families in the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood.
This fall, three core programs will be operating at Pierre Laclede Academy, creating a coordinated network of services available through the school:
iFM Family Medicine Clinic – Providing healthcare services for students.
Greater St. Louis Area Scouting – Launching a new scouting troop focused on leadership, character development, and outdoor experiences.
The Little Bit Foundation – Helping address basic needs that allow students to come to school prepared to learn.
Together, these organizations represent the vision of the Pierre Laclede Community Hub—bringing multiple community resources together under one roof to better serve children and their families.
An Opportunity to Support the Hub
As these programs begin serving students during the upcoming school year, North of Delmar is seeking financial support to help strengthen the Community Hub.
We invite individuals, businesses, and community supporters to consider a $5,000 contribution in support of this collaborative effort. Donors may choose to direct their gift to:
The iFM Family Medicine Clinic
Greater St. Louis Area Scouting
The Little Bit Foundation
Supporters may also choose to divide their contribution among any two of these organizations or provide support across all three. Every contribution helps expand opportunities and services for the students and families of Pierre Laclede Academy while strengthening this collaborative model for the future.
Expanding the Partnership
The Community Hub is designed to grow through collaboration. North of Delmar welcomes conversations with other nonprofit organizations that may be interested in bringing programs or services to Pierre Laclede Academy. Whether the focus is education, youth development, family support, workforce readiness, health, or another area of community service, we would be pleased to explore opportunities to work together.
In addition to helping coordinate partnerships, North of Delmar is committed to working with participating organizations to identify potential funding opportunities that can help launch and sustain new programs.
Looking Ahead
The Pierre Laclede Community Hub demonstrates what can happen when organizations work together around a shared mission. As programs begin operating together this fall, we are excited to continue building this collaborative model and exploring opportunities to expand it to additional schools and neighborhoods.

June 2026 Update
Growing Recognition for the Work in Wells-Goodfellow
North of Delmar has recently received encouraging recognition for the collaborative efforts taking place at Pierre Laclede Academy and throughout the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood. Two major front-page articles published last month highlighted the progress being made and the partnerships driving this work forward.
We are grateful for the opportunity to share the story of the students, families, educators, and community partners who continue to make this work possible.
The Pierre Laclede “Community Hub”
Our primary focus is the continued development of the Pierre Laclede Community Hub. This model positions Pierre Laclede Academy as the "front door" for coordinated student and family services, bringing multiple supports together in one accessible location.
The Community Hub is designed to integrate services and programs that address a range of needs while creating opportunities for enrichment and leadership development. Current partners and initiatives include:
Healthcare Access through the IFM Family Medicine Clinic, providing medical services to students and their families.
Basic Needs Support through partnerships with The Little Bit Foundation.
Youth Leadership and Development through the planned introduction of Scouting programs.
Arts Enrichment through the ongoing Craft Alliance arts program.
By bringing these resources together under one umbrella, North of Delmar and its partners are working to create a coordinated approach that supports students both inside and outside the classroom.
