Community Visioning Meeting (Meeting 1)
Planned session with Wells-Goodfellow residents to:
Listen to their priorities and needs.
Discuss reactions to suggested ideas for neighborhood improvements.
Goal: Create a shared vision of services, buildings, and activities for a vibrant, self-reliant community.
Follow-up Community Refinement Meeting (Meeting 2)
After the first meeting, an illustrative architect’s draft plan of a redeveloped Wells-Goodfellow will be presented.
Residents will work together to refine the plan and build consensus.
Outcome: A community-backed plan to share with funders, service providers, and partners.
Collaboration Launch in 2025
The North of Delmar initiative will officially commence in 2025, bringing together nonprofits, corporations, philanthropists, and universities to provide services in the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood.
