March 2025
Hello, fellow North of Delmar (NOD) Friends!

North of Delmar: (Almost) Spring 2025 Updates
As reported in more detail in our last issue, we’re continuing to make good progress in our first NOD practicum, a Wells-Goodfellow community project analysis conducted by the Washington University Center for Experiential Learning.
We also remain busy growing our newsletter distribution list, social media presence, and North of Delmar network, and we continue to offer our exploratory Coffee Talk sessions to anyone who wants to tell us more about what they’re doing North of Delmar and how we may be able to collaborate. To be in touch with us just reply to this email and we’ll set something up.
Reminder: Please forward this issue to friends and colleagues. Word of mouth is our favorite networking tool!
Our Latest News
Many hands make the work light, as they say. Which is why we’re focusing many of our earliest efforts on collaborating with others, whether their efforts are newly begun or already underway. For example, here are two other groups doing great things North of Delmar:
The Brickline Greenway Public/Private Partnership: As part of our region’s Great Rivers Greenway of vibrant outdoor spaces the Brickline Greenway is being built out to “connect Forest Park to the Gateway Arch and provide connections north to Fairground Park and south to Tower Grove Park.” A huge thanks to Emerson for their generous $2 million contribution to the project! Its co-CEOs are ready to get this built for our community.
The Gathering United Methodist Church Literacy Partnership works alongside the Normandy and St. Louis Public school districts to promote citywide literacy. Here is a video about their work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oduC39lwj4.
